DCPA Membership

Duval County Pharmacy Association is accepting new members at any time.  Membership is open to all pharmacists in Duval County and other surrounding areas.  You may either join by attending an upcoming meeting and submitting your membership there or you may contact one of our officers (please see the Officers link for details).  For more information, please see our frequently asked questions below!

Q1 .How do I become a member of the DCPA?

A1. Pharmacists and technicians may join by contacting a board member or presenting at an upcoming meeting.  Pharmacists and technicians must have a license that is active & in good standing.



Q2. How do I get credit for CE’s  at the meetings?

A2. Certificates of Participation" may be given upon successful completion of attendance, however all earned hours are reported to CE broker by DCPA


Q3. As a DCPA member do I have CE Broker membership ?

A3. Yes, professional CE broker membership is included in your DCPA dues. You may visit www.doh.state.fl.us/mqa for more information.


Q4.  How much are membership dues & when are they due ?

A4. The annual membership fee is $90 for pharmacists and $60 for pharmacy technicians and is due in January each year.


Q5. What does the DCPA do?

A5. The aim of DCPA is to unite all persons interested  in the profession of pharmacy in the State of Florida.

Q8. Will DCPA membership provide my entire CE  requirements ?

A8. DCPA may provide many of your required CEs, however CE requirements for Florida Pharmacists are the responsibility of the licensee.


Q9. What do I do if I am missing CE certificates from a DCPA meeting?

A9. ‘Certificates of Participation’ are given upon successful completion of attendance and hours are reported to CE Broker.  You may contact an officer if you have lost a certificate.  A replacement fee may apply.

 Q10. If I would like to join, but part of the year is over, do I have to pay the entire annual dues?

A10. Yes.
